Kessler & Kin is a consulting firm based in Austin, Texas, that partners with mission-driven organizations navigating complexity, growth, or transition — offering organizational advisory, stakeholder communication, and partnership and funding strategy to help nonprofit leaders move meaningful work forward. Founder Sydney Kessler Zuiker brings direct nonprofit and public-sector experience, having led Programs for a large Houston-based nonprofit focused on public safety and victim services, and currently serving as Secretary of the Texas Board of Criminal Justice, which oversees one of the largest correctional systems in the country. The firm is named in honor of Sydney's great-grandparents, Leslie and June Kessler — a WWII veteran and pastor and his wife, whose faith was lived out through showing up for others and treating people with dignity, even when it was difficult. That same commitment shapes how Kessler & Kin serves its clients today, including the many faith-based nonprofits working to serve their communities and move meaningful work forward.
