Job Responsibilities

As a member of the TGOHM Leadership Team, the Director of Volunteer Services will have the following key responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee a volunteer recruiting program with area churches
• Recruit, orient, train and evaluate new volunteers
• Communicate regularly with volunteers regarding the management of volunteer services
• Oversee all aspects of discipleship planning for volunteers
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and deliver training materials
• Research and select appropriate teaching, discipleship, and coaching methods
• Interface with the TGOHM President and the Men’s and Women’s Directors
• Serve on the Discipleship Committee
• Plan and coordinate training events
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• A strong commitment to Jesus Christ and a high level of spiritual maturity
• Agreement with the TGOHM Statement of Faith and Covenant of Christian Conduct
• Commitment to the vision and mission of TGOHM
• Proven experience leading and managing volunteers
• Ability to teach and model the Christian life as revealed in Scripture
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with humility and a teachable spirit
• Strategic thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Public and private life above reproach
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and follow-through

Additional Information

This is a full-time position.
Availability on weekends and evenings may be required.

Compensation: To be determined.
