Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Purpose:
To provide administrative and organizational support that helps River City Hope Street operate smoothly and serve students, volunteers, and community partners effectively in a Christ-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

Answer emails, return phone calls, and respond to general inquiries in a warm and professional manner.

Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining student and volunteer records.

Prepare documents, forms, and materials for classes and events.

Support event coordination, including volunteer sign-ups, hospitality setup, and materials organization.

Manage incoming mail, deliveries, and office supplies.

Update contact lists and assist with communication to volunteers and partners.

Maintain confidentiality and accurate record-keeping.

Collaborate with the Operations Lead and other team members to ensure office efficiency.

Represent River City Hope Street in a manner consistent with its Christian mission and values.

Time Commitment:
Approximately 4 hours per week, flexible scheduling available.

Operations Lead

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

Personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others through ministry work.

Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable; able to manage multiple small tasks efficiently.

Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word, Google Workspace, or similar).

Comfortable working in a small office environment with staff and volunteers.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Willingness to learn and take initiative with minimal supervision.

Prior administrative or office experience preferred but not required.

Must be 18 years or older and pass a background check.
