Job Overview
The Forward Foundation welcomes invitations from mental health workers! Our 501c3 nonprofit social enterprise exists to provide high quality, faith-based, research-informed mental health and wellness care. At the same time ,we are also committed to expanding access to care to those who cannot afford, or are not yet ready for clinical care. To accomplish this, we "equip the saints for service" (Eph 4:11-13) by teaching coaching skills to our partners in churches, nonprofits, mission orgs - anywhere there are christian communities committed to doing their faith by caring for and leading others well.
We have trained care leaders from Austin to Alaska to Antalya over the past 12 years, so that those who are struggling can connect with care resources in their existing community. For many, this is enough to help them stabilize and begin to grow, while others may be referred on to us, or another provider, for clinical care.
Our practice accepts most major medical insurance to help make care affordable for our clinical clients. As a practitioner, you will feel good knowing you are removing financial barriers to mental health support, while also being compensated fairly.
If you are thinking that insurance can be a pain to navigate - don't worry! We use an expert, full-cycle billing service to file claims for you with just a few clicks, and we will get you paneled with our list of preferred payers.
In short, The Forward Foundation is about providing excellent clinical care, developing our giftings, and joyfully training others to help people with the same help we have been given (2 Cor: 1:3-5). We strive to allow our team members space to pursue their passions and flourish within this framework, while honoring their personal calling and faith journey.

Job Responsibilities
### We are looking for clinicians who:
* Are wholeheartedly motivated to use their gifting to live out Eph 4:11-13 by contributing to our mission of both providing clinical care, and expanding our network of trained non-clinical care leaders in partner organizations
* Want to build and maintain a full time caseload of at least 20 clients per week
* Enjoy building a collaborative practice with community partnerships
* Have experience as staff or lay leader in a church, non-profit, mission driven business, or missions agency (not necessary but helpful)
* Have experience as a teacher or trainer (not necessary but helpful)
* Have specialised certifications, e.g. EMDR or other trauma therapy, Gottman, DBT, 12-step work, Motivational Interviewing, CBT (not necessary but helpful)
Job Qualifications
Required credentials and qualifications:
Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
Fully licensed mental health practitioner in the State of Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
Additional Information
Compensation:
We offer a 70/30 split for 15+ client hrs wk
Commission earned on training services
W2 status- save on taxes by being an employee not a 1099 contractor!
Additional benefits such as medical and retirement will be offered as we grow
Work location:
Primarily in-person in Cedar Park area
